I was wondering if you'd tell me more about those pod things you mentioned when I healed your face? Because they sounded really cool and spacey!

"Spacey" is one way to put it, yes. CryoPods did originate on the ten thousand and six hundred year old alien battleship called the Castle of Lions created by a race of chameleon-like people known as Alteans.

I don't think you can get much more "spacey" than that.
In any case, if you want to see what they looked like, I should have some schematics left on my Paladin suit. They're sort of like a cross between a regeneration chamber and a cryostasis pod. It kept Allura and Coran alive for ten thousand years!
Hence the "ten thousand, six hundred" part about the Castle of Lion's age. I don't even know how those things stayed working that long! Of course Coran would never let me take one apart, not even to study it.
